Nominations are open for the 2016 Food & Beverage Industry Awards, with 15 categories covering new food and beverage launches and innovative developments in the areas of sustainability, labelling, food safety and packaging design.
Now in their 12th year, the Australian Food & Beverage Industry Awards are one of the most anticipated events in the industry calendar, representing a chance for businesses to be recognised and celebrated by their peers.
And it’s not just cafes, restaurants and bars in the limelight, with a number of categories acknowledging the vital role of food and drink suppliers, packaging manufacturers, and suppliers of food-related materials, services and equipment.
One such category is the ‘Food Safe Equipment & Materials’ Award, sponsored by HACCP Australia and presented to a product or service that provides a best practice food safety benefit to the industry.
According to the Awards website, the safety benefit of the product or service can be ‘realised through design, improved sanitation or allergen testing. Products that can be entered into this category include protective clothing, sanitation products and services, monitoring equipment, materials handling products and facility fit out products and materials.’
HACCP is a proud sponsor of the Food Safe Equipment & Materials Award, reflecting their commitment to raising the profile of non-food material, equipment and services ‘in regard to the integrity and safety of food’ and in terms of recognising ‘the benefits of true food-safe design and characteristics’ to the industry.
Finalists and winners of a Food & Beverage Industry Award receive free publicity in Food & Beverage Industry News, on the Food & Beverage Industry News website and in its e-newsletter. Additionally, winners can use the Food & Beverage Industry Awards logo in their advertising, trade show graphics and product literature throughout the year.
Both finalists and winners also receive free tickets to the Awards Night & Gala Dinner on September 23rd and inclusion in the Product Showcase, giving them the chance to promote their business and providing exceptional networking opportunities.
Nominations for the Food & Beverage Industry Awards are open until July 31st, so get in fast and nominate your business, or a business that you think deserves industry recognition, for a chance to be part of these prestigious awards. Nomination forms can be downloaded on the website.
